K is for Kiss

Sam will be one on Sunday and this post is in honor of him--my favorite almost one year old son! :) It's mostly pics, but a few fun facts...

First, Sam has always been super sweet. He came twice as fast as his brother--his labor only taking 6 hours, only 2 of which were at the hospital. But he did weigh over a pound more--he was 10 pounds, 5 ounces at birth!!!!!! While we had the normal newborn stuff--middle of the night feedings, days when you couldn't figure out why he was crying, etc...--he's really been a very easy baby. He found his fingers at 3 months and has been sleeping through the night ever since. (Jen, I feel bad even typing that knowing that you're still sleep-deprived!) Any of my friends or family that have spent much time around my littlest guy will attest that he is super laid back and happy. Even when he gets really tired, he just gets more lethargic, not really too fussy. Lately, he's been starting to do some fun things like play peek-a-boo and make animal noises and mimick some words. He loves playing with his big brother and although he gets excited to see his daddy, currently I'm still his favorite person. I have to enjoy this while it lasts, I know it will be over all too soon! He loves music and dancing. Also, he'll eat most anything you put in front of him with the exception of most vegetables. Oh and he loves giving kisses! All in all, he's such a sweet boy, our Sammers.
