The boys stats/comparing sizes

This is mostly for me and my family/loved ones on facebook that might care. Over the past couple weeks as we've visited family, people who have tried to lift Sam have commented on what a chunk he is--he's not fat, but he's got a little chub and is definitely solid! When people make these comments, Pete is quick to say that he seems even chubbier than Jon was at this age and I I'm going to line up their stats and compare! I haven't looked yet, so I might be proving myself wrong...but I doubt it! ;)

Jon 9 lbs. 4 oz. 20 1/2 in.
Sam 10 lbs. 5 oz. 22 1/2 in.

2 mo.
Jon 14 lbs. 6 oz. 23 1/2 in. (must not have stretched him at birth)
Sam 14 lbs. 9 oz. 24 in.

4 mo.
Jon 17 ibs. 5 oz. 25 in.
Sam 16 lbs. 12 oz. 27 in.

6 mo.
Jon 18 lbs. 14 oz. 25 1/2 in.
Sam 18 lbs. 12 oz. 27 1/2 in.

9 mo.
Jon 24 lbs. 4 oz. 28 3/4 in. (growth spurt?)
Sam 21 lbs. 31 1/2 in.

1 year
Jon 24 lbs.12 oz. 30 1/2 in.
Sam 23 lbs. 2 oz. 32 1/2 in.

15 mo.
Jon 24 lbs. 3 oz. 32 in.
Sam-------this doctor doesn't see patients at 15 mo

18 mo.
Jon--------was between doctors and didn't go
Sam 28 lbs. 6 oz. 35 3/4 in.

2 years
Jon 29 lbs. ?34 in.
Sam still has a few months to go...

So, in the end, this is rather inconclusive! Sam weighs several pounds more than Jon did at 15 months, but just about what he weighed at 2--which is just a couple months away. In that way, Pete's right...Sam might weigh more than Jon did. On the other hand, he's inches taller than Jon was at 2, which makes him seem thinner to me. I'm going to try to find a picture of Jon at Sam's age and post them for a comparison, too.

Jon at 22 months

Sam just shy of 21 months
