While the rest of us have been taking turns being sick, Jon must have gotten bored being the only one not taking antibiotics in the family. In his boredom, our eldest decided to give himself a haircut. He said, "It looked easier when they cut it than it really is." It really wasn't too bad. He cut a little chunk out of the front and a bit off the top that no one would notice unless they were looking. I think it bothered him more than anyone else. He started asking to wear his baseball cap everywhere. I wouldn't let him wear it to Classical Conversations, our homeschool co-op, and told him he couldn't wear it to church on Sunday. He started asking on Wednesday (a few days after the cut) if I would buzz it. We put him off for a couple days, thinking that it wasn't that bad, but he was persistent and kept asking. Saturday he asked again if I would buzz it for him. He didn't want to go to church with it like that. So, we opened up the barber shop and went to work:

"It's harder than it looks!"

Tell him I think he looks very handsome! I don't know if I would recognize him if I wasn't paying attention, he looks so different. What a cutie!
Saw him at church Sunday...so cute!
