Today was his one year well-child appointment. He weighed in at 23 pounds 2 ounces--around the 65%--and is 32 1/2 inches long--which is apparently off the charts. He's such a tall little boy!

He's ONE!!
Sam turned one yesterday! We had a small party Friday night--just two families that we're friends with and their kids. We grilled and then had cake and presents. The kids all played and had a blast while the adults got to hang out. Here are a couple pics from the evening:

I can't believe how big he is! He really IS tall...almost three inches taller than Owen!
I think we are still coming on the 20th. I'll have Josh call Pete to confirm. Can't wait!
I was checking out the blog and I mistakenly read "He's ONE!!" as "He's the ONE!!". At first I thought wow, is there some kind of test for that. Then are started thinking of Sam as being like Neo from the Matrix. Then I felt bad for Jon....no one wants to be the big brother to the chosen one, even Jon was a brain surgeon, he still couldn't be "the one". Then I just felt bad for myself because after 7 years of higher education, I still can't read.
