Maggie is such a sweet girl. She's very laid back and most of the time goes with the flow--which around here is a crazy, loud, and often hectic flow! When we're home, she is such a great sleeper--usually a couple hour nap in the morning and again in the afternoon. She's even still taking a short snooze, about 45 minutes, in the evening. We try to eat dinner while she takes that little nap.
At her six month check up she weighed in at just over 18 pounds and 27 inches long- the 90th percentile for each. She is a big girl. Our little chunky monkey!
She's eating some baby food at breakfast and at lunchtime each day now and we'll start dinner time foods in the next week or so. She has been the quickest of our kiddos to figure out the whole eating thing. She is the least messy and while I had been dreading the baby food stage, it hasn't been as painfully messy and slow as I had anticipated. I'm still looking forward to the days when I can just give her a sandwich and she'll be able to eat it without help, but since she's my last, I'm trying especially hard to enjoy these little milestones.
Maggie's brothers have been sweet with her. They mostly just do their thing and occasionally stop to give her a smooch or try to make her smile or laugh.
However, we can always count on Will to come see her while I am nursing her. He will try to climb to be "up here with Maggie" because "I want to see her!" And he often says, "hi, sweet girl!" :)
I love how he loves her.
Maggie has been such a great addition to our family and I can't wait to see more of her personality emerge!
